Liverpool among many other clubs after Jack Wilshere

English Midfielder Jack Wilshere is most likely to see out his remaining contract which expires in the summer and leave Arsenal to move to a different club as the negotiations between the club and player seems to reach a dead end.

According to the Mirror, several clubs are poised to strike for the 26-year-old if he cannot agree an extension – the Reds included.

The report reads: “Wilshere has already received offers from Everton and Italian duo Juventus and AC Milan. It is believed Liverpool and Manchester City are watching developments, too.”

Wilshere spent last seaon on loan at Bournemouth and told by Arsene Wenger himself that he could leave the club when he returned to Arsenal. But since then he has fought for his position and re-established into Wenger’s side.

Often considered as one of the finest English talents but due to lack of mixture of form and fitness he couldn’t reach his full potential. If he is to leave Arsenal,no wonder he would add quality to that team.

Any possible Liverpool interest would be reminiscent – to a degree – of their pursuit of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who had a year left of his deal remaining. But the Reds are also well-stocked in midfield at present, with Oxlade-Chamberlain joined by the likes of Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner, Emre Can, Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson .Naby Keita also set to arrive this summer.
