Liverpool feels they won’t need an centre-forward

According to recent reports, Liverpool are interested in signing RB Leipzig’s striker Timo Werner in this summer transfer window.

Werner has been in exceptional form for the German club this season with reports suggesting that Liverpool are ready to pay a huge ÂŁ88 million to lure the player away from Germany. With the rumors that Firmino is on Bayer Munich’s radar as they set look to replace Lewandowski, signing of Werner could be a huge for them.

Firmino has been in excellent form for the Reds too. He has transformed himself from false number 9 to focal front man and is very important for the system that Klopp likes to play. According to reports his impressive displays has caught attention of Bayern Munich and keeping close tabs on him.

But according to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool will not be signing highly rated Timo Werner. In fact the Reds won’t be any signing any new centre-forward when the transfer window reopens. Klopp is satisfied with current attacking unit they have and believes he has more than many options in that area.

This could mean that either Liverpool are quite confident that Firmino will stay with the club even after the summer transfer window or if the Brazilian is to leave the club ,Klopp is happy with the other options he have and would not be looking into other options.

With the club already looking into ways to keep Salah from leaving this summer, Firmino is the another name they have to worry about this summer.
