Arsenal’s Joel Campbell, 22, has struggled to find his place in Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven this season, which has left him linked with loan moves to Swansea and Everton.
And reports in Spain are now claiming that Liverpool have entered the race for the youngster, with Brendan Rodgers understood to be a huge admirer of the 22-year-old.
The Reds are believed to be keen on recruiting more acquistitions to Anfield in the upcoming January transfer window, adding to the signings from the summer window. And if this story turns out to be true, Campbell could well be the first of many on their way to Merseyside after New Year.
