Tiago Ilori set for move away

Liverpool outcast Tiago Ilori is close to a move away from Anfield, with Greek giants Olympiakos ready with a £5million bid.

Illori signed for Liverpool in 2013 under Brendan Rodgers, but has failed to make any sort of impact in the side, and has been sent out on loan twice.

Olympiakos chief Paulo Bento is said to know him from his days with Sporting Lisbon, pathing the way for a deal. He still has 2 years remaining on his Liverpool contract but it’s looking like Ilori won’t be allowed to see it out.

The Portuguese centre-back joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan last summer but returned to Anfield in January after failing to make a first-team appearance for the now-Championship outfit. He appeared several times in pre-season under Jurgen Klopp, but hasn’t been included in either of Klopp’s Premier League match-day squads so far this season.
