Leicester City striker is Premier League top goalscorer as it stands
Liverpool are plotting a shock bid for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, according to reports.
The Reds are really struggling with options up front, and have only netted nine goals all season, which is one less than Vardy on his own, who has scored 10 already.
Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings are sidelined with injuries, while Christian Benteke has only just returned to fitness and Divock Origi is not cutting it in the Premier League.

With Jurgen Klopp only being in the job for three games, no drastic changes are expected, but new strikers could be added in January and Vardy is a reported option.
The 28-year-old has had a stunning start to the new campaign under Claudio Ranieri, scoring 10 goals, which makes him one of the top goalscorers across Europe.
As well as scoring 10, the striker has scored in his last seven games, making him one of the stand-out stars so far this campaign.
According to other reports, Tottenham Hotspur and even Real Madrid have also been linked with making a move for the England international, who has three-years left on his current deal at King Power Stadium.
