Jurgen Klopp is reportedly very interested in the Inter Milan man
Liverpool are set to launch a bid to sign Geoffrey Kondogbia in January, according to reports.
The midfielder has been criticised by his own boss, Frank De Boer, for a string of bad performances for the Italian side so far this season and he could very well be sold on as soon as January.
However, despite not getting this new season off to a good start in Serie A, Liverpool are believed to be quite keen to take him off Inter’s hands when the winter transfer window does open its doors.
Club bosses told to sign him up
Jurgen Klopp believes he could be a good addition to the current Reds side and he has reportedly told club bosses that he wants them to land the 23-year old in January.
Kondogbia has only featured in four of Inter’s seven Serie A games so far this season and De Boer could certainly decide to cash-in on the player and use the funds to buy someone else instead.
Last season he featured in 30 of the club’s games, bagging one goal too as Inter finished fourth. He was quite a prominent figure in the side but this start of the season hasn’t gone as well for the midfielder so far and it could ultimately result in him making the move to England.
