Liverpool are said to be ‘pondering’ a move for Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko, having been impressed by the player’s performance against Merseyside rivals, Everton.
The Ukrainian will have attracted many admirers with a man-of-the-match performance in his team’s 5-2 win over the Toffees.
The Reds will not be alone in their pursuit of the 25-year-old, with Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly courting Yarmolenko, along with Newcastle United and West Ham, although the latter two may be priced out of a deal which could cost £19.5m.
Yarmolenko could find himself on the opposite wing to compatriot Yevhen Konoplyanka should Liverpool revive their interest in him this summer.
