The Reds are reportedly prepared to use Jordon Ibe in a deal to sign Southampton star Sadio Mane.
Ibe’s career has took a different turn under Jurgen Klopp with the star winger completing only four Premier League games since his arrival back in October 2015.
His status at Anfield could become even more vulnerable with the arrival of Mane, who Jurgen Klopp has said is an alternative to Mario Gotze.
Ibe could be in for a big loss if Liverpool decide to go with Mane for £30m, mainly because the pair share a similar position on the flanks.
It’s also reported that the Reds are willing to offer Ibe in exchange for around £10m.
However, Liverpool will have to wait for Southampton to appoint their new manager for any transfer to be completed.
