Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to finalise his squad that will be ready to challenge in the Premier League and Europe next season.

The Red’s are close to completing the signings of Loic Remt from Newcaslte and Dejan Lovren from Southampton, with World Cup surprise star Divock Origi set to follow shortly.

This would see Liverpool’s summer spending rise to ÂŁ100 million, but Rodgers is not done yet.

After being promised all of Luis Suarez’s sale money, the manager is now planning to finally resolve all problems that occured when attempting to capture Sevilla star Alberto Moreno.

Not only this, it is understood that Rodgers wants a ‘marquee midfield signing’ and is prepared to do whats possible in order to make this happen.

Dortmund forward Marco Reus and Juventus star Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba have all been identified as new top targets for this summer window, with ÂŁ30m being dedicated to the chosen player.

The manager will enter negotiations as early as the end of this week to try and bring in a player that would send out a sign of intent to other rival teams.
