The scouts out of Anfield will watch Benfica starlet Lazar Markovic again on Thursday night.
However, Liverpool’s interest earlier this year and the 20-year-old is continuing to impress observers. He is due to start against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Chelsea have a long-held interest but consider other positions to be their priority while Manchester United are also watching his performances ahead of their summer overhaul.
Liverpool have also continued to watch Guilherme Siqueira. The 27-year-old left-back was the subject of a failed offer from Liverpool last summer when his club Granada were willing to sell but instead he went on loan to Benfica.
Real Madrid have also spoken about the Brazilian but Granada insist no agreement has yet been reached.
