The Reds are willing to double his wages

Since joining Liverpool from Roma for an initial fee of around £35 million last summer, Mohamed Salah has massively exceeded all expectations. He has been outstanding for the Reds, scoring 43 goals in all competitions this season and inspired his team to almost reach the Champions league final.

The Egyptian is the leading Premier League goalscorer now and has been named as the PFA Player of the Year, which has led him to to be linked with top European clubs ahead of the transfer window.

Real Madrid has been heavily linked the 25 year old as they want to add stellar players this summer with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema  likely to leave the club. There were reports that the La Liga giants are preparing a £200 million offer to lure the star in Spain.

Liverpool are reportedly to offer Mohamed Salah a new £185,000-a-week new contract according to The Sun. The winger is currently earning  £90,000-a-week but he is not among the top earners in the club. They are willing to double his wages to end any questions over his future,

The Premier League giants are determined to avoid another big name leaving after losing Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona and are willing to reject Real’s huge offer. They want to extend the four years he has left on his contract.

It is reported that Salah’s new deal likely to be completed before he leaves for World Cup in Russia.
