Liverpool are poised for a summer of change up front by offloading a trio of struggling strikers.

Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini are rumoured to be making their way out of Anfield.

The trio have a grand total of just five Premier League goals between them this season, and manager Brendan Rodgers is set to make changes to reinvigorate the Reds’ fortunes.

Divock Origi is set to rejoin the club once his loan spell at French club Lille is over, and reports are circulating about a move for another struggling striker, Manchester United’s Radamel Falcao.

It has been a turbulent season for Liverpool where goals are concerned, with Daniel Sturridge pickiing up an injury, which, coupled with the trio of forwards out of form, saw Raheem Sterling moved up top.

And with inspirational leader Steven Gerrard leaving for LA Galaxy this summer, it is promising to be a summer of change on Merseyside.

Balotelli has just the one league goal to his name this term, mainly struggling to win over the fans since arriving from AC Milan.

Borini nearly went to Sunderland last season after Liverpool accepted a ÂŁ14m bid, but he opted to stay and fight for his place.

Lambert turned down a move to Aston Villa at the end of the January transfer window.
