Liverpool star set for Real Betis move
Daniel Sturridge is on the verge of leaving Liverpool in January. Reports now suggest that Real Betis are leading the race for him and are ‘in talks’ with him.
The Englishman is not happy with the amount of match time he gets at Anfield and is desperate for a move away. Jurgen Klopp is not willing to bench Roberto Firmino for Sturridge but is not willing to let go of the striker too.
Reports suggest that Liverpool will only allow him to move to Betis if they manage to secure the signing of Aubameyang. The Borussia Dortmund striker is desperate to leave the German side in January following a bust-up with their manager.
West Ham United and 2 other unnamed English sides are also said to be interested in signing Sturridge but the player reportedly wants to play in a new league.
