Great news for the Reds
Liverpool star Adam Lallana has signed a new contract extension at Anfield.
The former-Southampton man, who joined Liverpool from St. Mary’s in 2014, has penned a new deal that runs until 2020.
It’s a fantastic move for the Reds, who’ve tied another one of their key players down to a long-term contract.
He follows the footsteps of Philippe Coutinho, who signed a new deal in January.
“I’m very proud and feel quite humbled by the show of faith from the club and the manager in particular,” Lallana told Liverpool’s website.
“This is a really good place to be at the moment and, for a player who wants to be part of something special, I can’t think of a better club to commit your future to.”
Lallana has scored 16 goals in 80 appearances for Liverpool since his arrival.
