Taiwo Awoniyi set to join Dutch side NEC Nijmegen
Liverpool are set to loan out striker Taiwo Awoniyi to Dutch outfit NEC Nijamegen.
The forward is set for a medical with the Eredisive side before completing the loan deal. He joined Liverpool last summer under Brendan Rodgers but was instantly loaned out to German side Frankfurt, scoring 1 goal in 14 appearances.
And he is now set for another temporary move away from Anfield as he does not qualify for a UK work permit.
Voetbal claim an agreement has now been reached between Liverpool and the Dutch club for the move to take place.
And they add that Awoniyi was present at NEC’s game against Go Ahead Eagles yesterday to see his new team play.
