Liverpool are preparing to offer a three year deal to sign Rayan Souici from under the noses of Manchester City.
The talented teenager is yet to play for current club St Etienne, but his performances for France’s under 16 side have attracted the attention of the two English clubs.
Souici was linked with Monaco only for the deal to break down, increasing the likelihood of a move to England.
The French youngster, still just 16 years of age, is said to model his game on fellow countryman and current Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
