Liverpool are ready to spend £10million in January on Norwich City star, Nathan Redmond.
Brendan Rodgers is desperate to sign new faces in the Winter window in order to save the club’s sloppy season, and according to reports, he will look to the young Englishman as a potential boost to the side’s attacking options.
As well as Redmond, it’s believed that Rodgers is keen on signing Saido Berahinho from West Brom, as he looks to add more firepower to his side.
Redmond, who currently plays in the Championship in Norfolk, was expected to leave the club in the Summer following their relegation, but a £5m bid from Southampton was rejected.
However, Liverpool are now set to enter the race and are willing to offer double that as Rodgers is confident that Redmond could become another Raheem Sterling.
The duo have played together at England U-21 level and Rodgers has now sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old.
