Liverpool will make a formal move for Lyon striker, Alexandre Lacazette, in the next few days, according to reports.
The French striker has been in superb form this season, netting 23 goals in 23 games this term, making him one of Europe’s lethal finishers.
The 23-year-old, who is also being watched by Paris Saint-Germain, has admitted in recent weeks that he may be ready to leave Lyon in order to further his career, and it looks like Liverpool may launch the first formal bid.
Brendan Rodgers has been interested in the striker for the past month or two and according to reports in France, he is now ready to make a formal bid for the front-man.
Liverpool are struggling for goals after Luis Suarez’s departure and Daniel Sturridge’s injury concerns, and Lacazette could be the perfect option to bring goals back to Anfield.
Any price hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Lyon will want a hefty sum for their top goalscorer.
