Brendan Rodgers to raid Serie A

Liverpool have been alerted by reports suggesting Financial Fair Play sanctions could see Roma having to sell Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan in the summer.

The Italian giants have been handed a £4.3m fine and need to shorten their squad size for next season’s Champions League from 25 to 22.

Double-Sale

According to sources in the Italian capital, the red and yellows may need to sell the midfield pairing in order to follow the rules and regulations that have been set and reports in Italy claim that Roma would want at least £66m for them.

Gerrard Replacement

Pjanic and Nainggolan have been linked with moves to Anfield all season, and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants the experienced duo to replace Steven Gerrard in the Reds’ midfield.
