Liverpool are readying a £90k-a-week contract for AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.
The Reds have reportedly made a £17.6million bid for the controversial Italian figure, who is on the transfer list due to Milan wanting to get rid of the striker due to his high wages, and despite the offer being £2m less than their asking-price, Milan are considering the offer from Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers is keen on adding another striker to his squad in order to replace Luis Suarez, who joined FC Barcelona, and despite being interested in Radamel Falcao and Edinson Cavani, it looks like Balotelli is now his main target.
According to reports in Italy, Liverpool have made a formal offer of around £17.6m and have put a four-year contract on the table worth around £90k-a-week.
