Reports are suggesting new Real Sociedad boss, David Moyes has made a move to take Liverpool’s Emre Can to Spain in January on loan.
20-year-old Can has reportedly struggled to settle on Merseyside and has only had a bit-part role in the Red’s season so far.
This has encouraged Moyes to make an enquiry for the former Bayern Munich man, but Liverpool will not be interested.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on the versatile youngster, and with Can impressing in recent weeks in Liverpool’s back three, he will be unwilling to entertain any suggestion of selling or loaning out the German.
Of course things can change quickly during the January transfer window, but with Can in good form and looking like a viable defensive option for Rodgers at the moment, we think a loan until the end of the season is unlikely.
