Liverpool to replace Balotelli with Berahino

Liverpool look set to swap Balotelli for Berahino in the January transfer window.

The West Brom striker has had a good season for the Baggies so far and he has caught the eye of not only Brendan Rodger’s Liverpool but Man United and Tottenham as well.

The Reds will look to offload flop forward Mario Balotelli in the winter transfer window, with Inter Milan interested and then use the cash from the move to make a bid for the England U21 star.

Roberto Mancini, who is now Inter boss, has also been linked with Berahino but he would much rather sign Balotelli, who he worked with at Man City. It leaves Brendan Rodgers with enough money to make a serious cash bid for Berahino and a deal could be done early January.

However, as previously mentioned Spurs and United are also interested and all three teams could be set to battle it out next month for one of the Prem’s most wanted strikers. It wont be easy for Liverpool because of this but if they move early they could secure a deal.
