Premier League want to sort out Ings transfer from Burnley

Liverpool have been asked by the Premier League to submit their case for the signing of Danny Ings from Burnley over the summer.

A tribunal between the two clubs is set to take place in the New Year, and the Premier League have asked the Merseyside club to submit their case following the controversial transfer.

Ings joined Anfield on a free transfer after allowing his contract to run-down at Turf Moor, but because of his age, Liverpool are forced to pay the Championship club a compensation fee.

Compensation Fee

Liverpool officials want to pay around ÂŁ6million for the striker, but Burnley are adamant that they turned down a ÂŁ12m offer from Tottenham Hotspur during the same transfer window.

The two clubs failed to reach an agreement and it’s now being taken to a tribunal case and the Premier League have now asked Liverpool to submit their case.

Burnley will also submit their case ahead of the New Year tribunal.
