Liverpool are set to open talks with Hoffenheim over a deal for midfielder Roberto Firmino. The Reds have been keeping an eye on the midfielder and boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to push ahead and try and agree a deal for the 22-year old.
Reports from Germany are claiming that Ian Ayre will be flying out to open talks with Hoffenheim over a possible move in the next few days. Firmino has also previously been watched by Chelsea and he can also play on the wing or as a striker.
He is considered to have a bright future in the game and was unlucky to miss out on a place in the Brazil squad for the World Cup. Liverpool value him at £15m, but they could end up paying £20m to get their man.
