Right-back is currently out on loan from Arsenal
Liverpool want to sign Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson in the Summer, but face competition from West Ham United.
The Englishman is currently out on a season-long loan with The Hammers and could be set to leave Arsenal permanently after the development of Hector Bellerin this season.
The Gunners have Bellerin, Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers are options for right-back, leaving Jenkinson fourth choice if he does choose to return to the Emirates Stadium.
However, Brendan Rodgers is showing interest in the young defender and could make a move for him at the end of the season.
Current right-back Glen Johnson is set to leave Anfield once his contract expires and Rodgers is desperate to sign a suitable replacement as soon as possible in order to blood him into the team.
