The striker has played just 106 minutes since Klopp’s arrival

According to reports, Liverpool are ready to listen to offers of £25 million for the injury prone Daniel Sturridge.

The England international centre forward has made just three Premier League starts this season, and was also one of the many senior players who missed the 2-2 draw at Exeter City in the FA Cup third round tie on Friday night.

The Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp is becoming frustrated with the 26-year old, stating that he can’t complete the ‘nine or 10 days’ of training he needs in order to be match fit.

‘he’s not available’

“Daniel had some problems, not serious, but could not make a session and we had to wait a day,” said Klopp.

“It is how a pre-season can be. Some little things happen and we have to handle this. It is not a row of sessions and we say ‘Now we are here and go’.”

“When he is fit, we will pick him, but at this moment because he didn’t have one session with the team he’s not available,” added the German.

“I will pick him when he is ready, I will not hold him back. Because he didn’t have one session with the team it was not the usual plan for this week.”
