Liverpool will make a transfer bid to Paris St Germain for winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is a keen admirer of the Argentina international and he thinks that he could bolster his attacking options.
The 30-year-old has found chances in Laurent Blanc’s starting team this season and wants a move away from the Parc des Princes in the summer transfer window – preferably to the Premier League.
Rivaled Interest in Forward
However, the Merseyside club face tough competition for the Argentine as Spanish side Valencia and fellow Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur are interested in him and are lining up substantial offers for his services.
The former Napoli star wants to play in the Premier League before his career comes to a close and wants a move to a ‘big’ club in England.
