John Barnes says that the Reds would sell Mo. Salah for £200 million ($266m) to Real Madrid.

The former Liverpool midfielder is confident that the Reds will sell the Egyptian forward Mohammad Salah for £200 million ($266m). He added that though the Jurgen Klopp side is not “a selling club” but if the Spanish giants offer the right amount for the player, the reds would definitely part away with Salah.

Liverpool has recently tied a contract with Salah for 5-years. Salah has mentioned a number of times during his various statements about how happy he is at Anfield. Thanks to his heroic 44-goal debut campaign for the Reds which has already made him a star player for the Reds.

Barnes has also pointed out that as Real Madrid is parting away with Ronaldo, there is possible approach on cards for the Egyptian forward from the Spanish side.

Talking to Daily Star, the former Red has said that Real Madrid could bid for Salah very soon. He said, “Salah signing a new contract doesn’t mean that Liverpool are no longer a selling club”.

“Every club is a selling club. If Real Madrid offered £200 million for Salah then he’d go and Liverpool would then be a selling club”, he added.

“Ronaldo might be leaving Real Madrid, [Robert] Lewandowski could leave Bayern Munich. “Neymar could leave PSG as well so even the biggest clubs in the world are selling clubs. “But what the new contract means is that Salah is committed to Liverpool and wants to stick around and see how far they can go.”

But after last season heroic, its looks hard for the Reds to part away from Salah.

Salah joined Liverpool for a long-term contract with a fee of  initial €42 million fee that could rise to €50 million. Salah played 52 games for the Reds and have score on 44 occasions which was a record. He was awarded with Premier League Golden Boot award for his 32 goals across 36 Premier League games he played.  Salah was awarded the with PFA Player of the Year award and was also a part of PFA Team of the Year.
