Anfield midfielder on the way out
It’s thought that Liverpool midfielder Joao Texeira has agreed a move to join Porto this summer.
Teixeira is out of contract at Liverpool and despite being offered new terms, it’s thought the Portuguese is looking to keep his options open, and is actually looking to move home.
He spent loan spells at Brentford and Brighton but made seven appearances for the first team under Jurgen Klopp last season, scoring in an FA Cup replay win over Exeter.
A number of clubs had been monitoring Teixeira’s situation, but Porto have moved quickly to agree a deal.
It’s thought that he may have signed a 5-year deal with the Portugal giants, a contract that should be finalised soon.
