Loic Remy wants Arsenal move

Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy would ‘jump at the chance’ to join Arsenal in the Summer, according to a source close to the player.

The Frenchman is currently on loan at Premier League side Newcastle United, and despite The Magpies stuttering of late, Remy has been in fine form all season for Alan Pardew’s side.

It has been reported that Arsenal’s rivals, Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on signing the 27-year-old, but according to a source close to Remy, a move to Arsenal would be his favoured option due to Thierry Henry’s legacy at the club.

“If Arsenal want him that’s where he will go. Where else would a big fan of Thierry Henry want to go?”

It is understood that Remy is keen to play Champions League football again, so even if QPR do get promoted back to the Premier League this season, he will still be looking for a transfer away and it’s believed the Championship side want around £15million for the striker.
