Rumours circulate thanks to club President

According to reports, Arsenal and Chelsea will go head-to-head in the race to sign Marseille centre-forward Michy Batshuayi.

Fichajes.net claim that the Gunners are the front-runners for the Belgium international, however, Jose Mourinho’s Blues are said to be interested after Batshuayi’s price tag was revealed by a very strong source.

Marseille’s club President Labrune Vincent has recently stated that their star man could be sold for around ÂŁ24.5 million.

One of Europe’s hottest prospects

“Any club interested in having Michy Batshuayi’s services will have to pay 35 million euros (ÂŁ24.5m),” admitted Vincent.

“Right now he is one of the most closely watched market players.”

The 22-year old has scored nine goals in all competitions for the French club this campaign.
