Manchester United boss ready to walk out?

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has hinted that he could resign from his post at Old Trafford.

The Dutchman is under real pressure at United, following no wins in his last seven games, including four losses on the bounce, the club’s worst streak since 1990.

Van Gaal watched his side fall to another defeat yesterday, this time at the Britannia Stadium, as Stoke City overcame them thanks to goals from Bojan and Marko Arnautovic.

With reports ahead of the game claiming Van Gaal could be sacked if he didn’t get two wins out of two against Stoke and Chelsea, all eyes were focused on his post-match interview.

When asked about his job and future, Van Gaal admitted that he could walk away from the club.

Resignation Hint

‘The club doesn’t have to fire or sack me – sometimes I do it by myself,’ said Van Gaal after the loss.

More and more speculation mounts about Jose Mourinho taking over from Van Gaal, but United must focus on their next game, which is tomorrow against Chelsea.
