Digne has struggled for regular playing time at Barcelona

Lucas Digne joined Barcelona from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2016 but has struggled for regular playing time at the club. Jordi Alba has been preferred ahead of him and is reduced to the bench most of the times. He has just made 19 appearances in all competitions this season.

Both Barcelona and Digne are ready to part ways and the Frenchman has been offered to Juventus with a view to a summer move, Goal understands.  Player’s representatives have informed the Italian giants that the player will be available in the coming transfer window.

The deal would be perfect from Juventus point point of view, the Serie A leaders are lacking depth in the left side of defense. Their first choice left-back is also linked with a deparure this summer. Digne would be a decent replacement for him.

Another advantage is that the 24 year old already have the experience playing in Serie A. He joined Roma on a loan in 2015-2016 season and had an impressive campaign

The most likely transfer scenario would see Digne move to Turin in an initial loan deal, with the possibility of signing permanently for Juve at a later date.

According to reports, €25 million would be enough to convince Barcelona to sell the left-back.
