Liverpool midfielder free to leave

Lucas Leiva is set to leave Liverpool with his agent flying to Italy in order to hold talks with AC Milan, according to reports.

The Brazilian midfielder has been told he’s free to leave Anfield after a fall-out with Brendan Rodgers, which resulted in him being excluded from the matchday squad against Stoke City on Sunday.

Lucas is believed to be behind the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Emre Can and Joe Allen in the pecking order at Liverpool, and after a fall-out with Rodgers, the Brazilian is now free to leave.

The 28-year-old’s career in England has been struck with injury problems and fitness issues, restricting him to just 196 Premier League appearances in eight years.

Free To Leave

Despite being a fan favourite in Merseyside, Lucas is now expected to leave the club with his agent heading over to Italy.

According to Gazzetta dello SportKia Joorabchianm is ready to fly to Italy and strike a deal with AC.
