Lucas to force his way out of Liverpool

Lucas Leiva is pushing for a move away from Anfield having grown frustrated at his lack of first team action.

The Brazilian has only started two Premier League matches this season, and wasn’t part of the 18 against QPR on Sunday or tonight against Real Madrid.

Napoli manager Rafa Benitez is said to be interested in resigning a player he bought as Reds manager in 2008.

Lucas had this to say about his future. “I want to play but at the same time I need to be patient. I need to find a solution either at Liverpool or at another club.

At the moment I don’t have contacts with other clubs but considering that I don’t find enough space at Liverpool, I should start to make a move.”
