Luis Suarez insists he’s going nowhere

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez says ‘nothing is going to happen’ to him in regards to his future at Anfield. The new PFA player of the year has managed to bag 30 goals this season and has seriously enhanced his reputation as one of the world’s best players.

The forward signed a new contract at the club in December but it hasn’t stopped Real Madrid thinking about making a move to take him to the Bernabeu. When Suarez was questioned on Canal 10 in Uruguay about whether they should contact him in England or Spain next year, he replied:

“I’m very happy here and my family is happy here. Don’t worry nothing is going to happen to me. If we could win the Premier League and bring the trophy home it would be incredible, a dream come true.”

That dream of his currently rests with Man City and their visit to Everton this weekend. If Man City drop points, then the title will be back in the Reds hands after a frustrating loss to Chelsea last weekend. But if City do win, then the title could be just out of their reach.
