AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has been banned for three games after he was sent off at the weekend after the final whistle against Napoli.
In a very eventful 90-minutes for the former-Manchester City striker, it was in fact after the game when he got sent off.
The Italian shouted abuse at the match-day official whilst walking off the pitch and the referee deemed it offensive and showed the Milan-man a second-booking, but he has now heard that because of the incident, he will miss three games instead of just one.
Balotelli’s side lost 2-1 on the day and despite scoring Milan’s goal, he also missed a penalty, which was his first spot-kick miss in 21 attempts.
He will miss the games against Bologna, Sampdoria and Juventus but Milan may appeal the sentence.
