The midfielder’s future is uncertain with Wilshere currently out on loan at Bournemouth

Man City are considering a bid for Jack Wilshere, according to reports today.

The midfielder has impressed at Bournemouth, where he is currently out on loan until the end of the season.

His showings have actually encouraged Man City to approach Arsenal about a potential move, with City reportedly speaking to the Gunners about a potential move and asking to be informed about his future at the club.

Arsene Wenger though might want his future to be at the Emirates Stadium, as he is believed to want to try and extend Jack Wilshere’s current deal at the club.

Wenger regrets loan move

The midfielder’s current deal runs out in a year and a half, meaning he might be available on the cheap.

The Gunners boss has spoken out about sending Wilshere on loan to Bournemouth and claimed he regrets letting the Englishman leave on loan, as he has less options in midfield.

However, the fact that he did let him go to Bournemouth and the fact that no new deal has yet been agreed leaves the midfielder’s future uncertain for the time being and City are ready to pounce.

If the Gunners decide they do want to sell, then Pep Guardiola’s men are seemingly ready to swoop and bring Wilshere to the Etihad Stadium.

Everton have also been linked with a move for the 25-year old but they only plan on making any bid for Wilshere in the summer transfer window.
