Kevin De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany are set to fly to Spain to have treatment for their injuries
Vincent Kompany and Kevin De Bruyne have been sent to Spain to help them recover from their current injuries.
De Bruyne suffered his injury at the hands of Swansea in the Premier League at the weekend and it’s not good news for City fans, with the attacking midfielder set to miss the next four weeks of action.
He’s been joined on the trip to Spain by his Belgium teammate Vincent Kompany, who has had a nightmare with injuries over the last few seasons.
Struggled to regain fitness
He was once again sidelined in City’s EFL Cup victory last week and it means that he’s had very little first-team action for several months now.
He continues to struggle to play for Man City – his appearance against Swansea was his first for FIVE MONTHS and before that, he was also out for a good few months. He’ll be hoping this trip to Spain and some treatment in Barcelona will finally get him on the path to a solid recovery again.
The 30-year old will no doubt be desperate to recover from his latest setback and get a good run in the side going.
