Reds desperate to sign new strikers in Summer
Liverpool are lining up a move for Manchester City bench-warmer Stevan Jovetic, according to reports.
The striker has not found the form he had hoped for when he joined the current Premier League champions as he has scored just 12 goals in 44 appearances.
Liverpool gaffer Brendan Rodgers is monitoring the Montenegro international and could make a move in the summer.
Rodgers Aware of Issues
The 25-year-old could be available to buy on a cheap price with City looking to get rid of high wage bills and Rodgers has admitted that he hasn’t had many options up front this campaign.
After Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with West Brom, Rodgers said: “We just don’t score as many goals, it’s as simple as that.
“We will look at it in the summer and it’s somewhere we will have to do some work on.
“The players have given the same effort and attitude but we had two players last year [Suarez and Sturridge] who played in the front three who got 50 plus goals and we don’t have it now.” he added.

However, the Reds will have to get into business as soon as the transfer window opens in the summer with Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan both scouting the former Fiorentina star.
