Manchester United are looking to replace Radamel Falcao with another Colombian striker next season.
Radamel Falco’s season at Old Trafford is coming to a close with the Red Devils preparing to decline the option to sign the forward for £43million to make his loan move permanent in the summer transfer window.
If United decide to go ahead with their proposed plan, then this will leave a space free in the forwards section of the team and boss Louis van Gaal may opt to sign Carlos Bacca if Dutchman Robin van Persie is allowed to leave the club.
According to reports in Spain, Carlos Bacca has been one of the main highlights in La Liga this season and Unite d have reportedly been monitoring him as the season has gone on.
It is also claimed that the Red Devils have been amaze with Bacca’s eye-for-goal under manager Unai Emery.
However, Bacca will not be available on the cheap for United with Liverpool, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Monaco all fighting for the striker’s signature.
The 28-year-old is believed to be worth around £15million but this figure could almost double with the club’s bidding higher than one-another for the Colombian.
United are now one of the leading favourites to sign him but according to reports in Spain, any top team could sign the player as long as the right amount is paid for the forward.
