In a shock move, Man United are being linked with a deal for Andre Carrillo.
The Red Devils are reportedly eager to sign the 24-year old but there is a slight problem – he’s already agreed to join Benfica this summer!
The Portuguese side have managed to secure a deal to sign the winger for nothing this summer but rather than keeping and playing him, they may be willing to sell him straight back on for a profit.
Could ask for £19m
The Red Devils are willing to pay what it takes to sign him according to reports and Benfica could ask for up to £19m for his services, a fee that new boss Jose Mourinho could easily afford.
It would leave both teams happy – Benfica could have £19m from a player they signed for nothing, while United will have Carrillo, a player the Special One is believed to be keen to sign and could help the Red Devils in their bid for glory next season.
The Peru international has impressed during his time at Sporting Lisbon and could add some more creativity to Man United’s attack next year, as they bid to try and be back up at the top challenging for the title.
