Manchester United are finally hoping to land Angel di Maria before the summer is out, and are ready to bid £56million for the winger.
United have been cleared to sign the Argentine after he handed in a transfer request at Real Madrid, and frontrunner PSG ruled out a move. And now Marca is claiming that United are ready to offer £56m and have the deal wrapped up in a matter of days.
Reports earlier this week suggested a £200,000-a-week wage deal has been struck, with only the fee left to be sorted out.
Di Maria has made no secret of his interest in playing in the Premier League, and United will aim to use that to push through his transfer.
