Manchester United target Felipe Anderson could depart Lazio this summer, with United still keen.
According to reports in Italy, the Brazilian has become increasingly unsettled at the Serie A club, and Lazio are said to be open to selling him if an offer of around 42m comes in.
United were originally interested in Felipe Anderson two summers ago, but were unable to bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford.
Anderson made a blistering start to the campaign, netting two goals and providing seven assists for Lazio, but his form has dropped in recent months, which many fans are blaming on the fact that he is no longer happy in Italy.
Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in world football, and for this reason alone they would be an attractive option for any player, especially a 23-year old Brazilian only capped once by his national side.
If Jose Mourinho and United are still interested in bringing him to England, there is no doubt that Anderson’s head would be turned – but United may not feel his is worth the 42m that Lazio believe they should get for his services.
United also face stiff competition from Inter Milan, who are also interested in signing the young star, but with reports suggesting that Anderson would much prefer a move away from Italy, this would tip the scales into Manchester United’s favour.
Anderson has gained attention ever since his days with former club Santos – where he made 67 appearances, before moving to Lazio in 2013, for around 7.8m.
Felipe Anderson is predominantly known for his pace and is regarded as one of the fastest players in the modern game, and his ability on the ball and control of it are all traits that have seen many clubs around the world keep tabs on the young Brazilian, who could have a very bright future – perhaps, in England.
