Man United are leading the race to sign Alexis Sanchez, with reports claiming a concrete £20m bid has been made. The Barcelona star has had previous interest from Liverpool and Juventus.
The 25-year old still has two years left on his current deal but, like Cesc Fabregas, the new Barca boss Luis Enrique is willing to listen to any offers that come in for the winger. The Red Devils are keen to push through a move for Sanchez before the World Cup begins this week, as they fear his price could go up if he impresses for Chile.
Liverpool, who were previously interested, now seem likely to pursue a move for Xherdan Shaqiri of Bayern Munich and that means the path could be cleared for United to snatch up the Barcelona man.
