The midfielder’s new teammate believes he will stay at Juventus this summer

Man United have been told not to expect to sign Paul Pogba this summer by Dani Alves.

The right-back has just completed a move to the Italian side from Barcelona and he has spoken out about his new teammate, claiming that he doesn’t think the Frenchman will be leaving the club this summer.

The 23-year old has been linked with several top sides so far this summer, with Real Madrid eager to make him their big signing this summer transfer window and Man United are also keen for a reunion with the French international.

United considering massive bid

The Red Devils are so desperate to bring him back to Old Trafford that they are even considering a massive ÂŁ70m bid for his services, according to reports. This despite letting him leave for practically nothing four years ago.

Although United are hopeful a deal can be done – especially because they have a good relationship with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola – Alves believes otherwise.

The defender said about the midfielder: “I expect to play alongside him, which is going to be a great honour. There are other incredible players in this team as well, who also have a lot to say for themselves.”

It looks like Alves expects to be playing with Pogba next year at Juventus. However, United will be desperate to make sure that is not the case, as they look to bring him back to Old Trafford.
