Man United are preparing to launch a fresh bid for Arturo Vidal and the Red Devils are willing to offer the midfielder the same pay as Robin Van Persie. Reports in Chile are claiming that Louis Van Gaal is now focused on securing the signature of the Juventus man above everything else and that he is willing to make a massive offer to do so.
United will make a huge £40m bid for Vidal and, if it is accepted, they will then offer the 27-year old £200,000-a-week wages to move to Old Trafford. That would put him on the same pay as striker Robin Van Persie and he would be only behind Wayne Rooney in terms of wages.
Juve director Pavel Nedved has suggested that the Italian side don’t want to sell Vidal, but they would have to consider a huge bid. He said:
“We don’t want to sell anyone, especially Vidal. Certainly if there were a high bid for them we’d have to think about it, but we don’t want to sell our champions.”
The Red Devils are ready to test that resolve with a big bid and see if they can capture the signature of the Chile star.
