Manchester United are hopeful they can agree a deal for Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti before the World Cup.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is refusing to give up on Samuel Umtiti despite the Barcelona defender showing no sign he wants to leave the Nou Camp.
Mourinho is eager to strengthen his defence at Old Trafford and sees the France international as the ideal addition after Victor Lindelof failed to live up to expectations.
Umtiti is a major target for the Red Devils this summer as he has stalled on a new deal in Catalonia. But Barca are confident he will renew before the start of the World Cup.
