Guardiola a fan of Arsenal right-back
Manchester City have reportedly launched a £43million bid for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin.
According to a Spanish media outlet, Pep Guardiola is a massive fan of the yound defender, who established himself as one of the best in his position last season, making it into the Premier League team of the year.
His performances have lead to interest from some of Europe’s top clubs, including Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich.
However, it’s City who lead the race and City who have made the first move for the player, who is a product of Barcelona’s highly-renowned system.
Both of Manchester City’s first choice right-backs, Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta, are both over 30, and with Bellerin having a superb ability to get forward as well as defend, an upgrade might be well-needed in the City team.
