Manchester City are said to be considering a transfer move for Real Madrid’s central defender Sergio Ramos, according to The Daily Mirror.
Spanish international Ramos is currently stalling over improved contract talks at Madrid, with City looking to hijack any renewed contract with a bid for the player.
It is thought that City boss Manuel Pellegrini is hoping for a proposed reunion, having worked with the defender at the Bernabeu during the 2009/10 League campaign.
Ramos, aged 28 could be tempted to England by City, who are willing to pay him around £7.7 million a year in wages, however, they face stiff competition from Chelsea, who are also keen on the Madrid vice-captain.
